Here are my alphabet stamps. This is what they looked liked on the last day of school and I haven't had the energy to organize them. . . again.
A few weeks ago I found a storage container at Wal-Mart. After a minor alteration (my hubby used his dremel and cut out a few slots for the ink pad) my stamps are now sporting a new look:
So now I have this left over:
Which ties into another project I am working on.
I have been cutting letters out of food boxes. The old alphabet stamp box will be perfect for sorting the smaller letters I've cut out of the boxes. It will also be great fine motor skills as they pick up the small letters and manipulate them to the correct slot.
What a fantastic idea! I have tried ice cube trays, but they spill out. With the little containers, the stamps are sometimes hard to get back in the space. I love this!ReplyDelete
Thanks! Hopefully it passes the "kid" test next year! Only time will tell! : )Delete
I really like this, plus you don't have to worry about them getting dumped out since it has a top.ReplyDelete
Crossing my fingers that it works with the kinders!!!!Delete
I just got done dumping my letter stamps all over the floor today! lol (not by choice). This is a super idea! :)ReplyDelete

I love your idea about using the 'old' stamp container as a way to sort your environemntal print letters! So glad I found you!ReplyDelete
